P. JODY LAVERGNE is a lifelong resident of Southwest Louisiana. He is married with four children. Jody represents clients with serious injury and death claims. Jody graduated from McNeese State University in 1997 and spent a year teaching High School English. He then attended LSU Law School and received his J. D. degree in 2001. In Law School, Jody was active in trial and appellate argument competition. He was also selected to serve as a member of the Moot Court Board and advanced to the semifinals of the Tullis Moot Court competition.
Early in his career, he worked for both plaintiffs and large commercial defendants including major insurance companies. Jody now focuses solely on helping people who have been injured in accidents.
Today, he is a member of the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, and Louisiana Association for Justice.
